Currently, in the ArihantPlus mobile application, when a client holds the same stock in both MTF and Non-MTF segments and sells a portion of the holdings, the average price displayed under the Non-MTF position reflects the combined average of the total quantity (MTF + Non-MTF). However, the purchase rate shown is only for the Non-MTF quantity, resulting in inconsistent and confusing information.
Expected Behavior:
The average price should be displayed separately for MTF and Non-MTF holdings, based on their respective acquisition costs.
Alternatively, if the business logic requires a consolidated average, then the same average should be displayed consistently across both MTF and Non-MTF positions.
Currently, the Back Office reports display the correct average prices, and several other brokers also show separate average prices for MTF and Non-MTF holdings, making it easier for clients to understand their actual cost and P&L.
Kindly review this behavior and update the ArihantPlus application so that the average price calculation and display remain consistent with the Back Office and provide a better user experience.
